Help For All
The Children’s Speech and Reading Center is committed to providing services to all children in Northern Colorado that experience speech, language or reading delays. Services, therefore, are available on a sliding scale for families that qualify for financial assistance. For more information on funding availability, please contact the Center.
The Center does not bill insurance, but it does accept Medicaid.
Financial Support to the Center
Financial assistance is made possible through generous donations from individuals, foundations, community organizations and corporations. A major source of funding is provided by the Scottish Rite Foundation, a philanthropy of Scottish Rite Freemasonry in Colorado. The Foundation established the first speech therapy clinic in 1953 at the Denver Children’s Hospital. Today, over 145 programs are funded nationwide. Thousands of children and their families have received help at the 12 clinics located throughout Colorado.
