Evaluations and treatment are typically provided at the Center by Speech-Language
Pathologists certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Children are seen individually or in small groups for 45-60 minutes,
usually once a week. Some are seen more often, based on need. If your
child also receives speech therapy services at school, we use the Individualized
Education Plan (IEP) and consultation with school personnel to create
a customized care plan.
Parents are an important part of their child's success and may participate
in sessions. Families help carry out a home program to support the treatment
sessions.
